DotNet Holdings

About

A holding company that still thinks like a builder.

DotNet Holdings began by writing software, and never stopped. Today we own and operate a portfolio of technology companies serving automotive retail from our base in Sacramento, California.

Who We Are

Private, focused, and in it for keeps.

DotNet Holdings LLC is a privately held holding company. We are not a fund, we do not raise outside capital, and we are not assembling companies to sell them. We build platforms, run them well, and let time do the compounding.

Our portfolio is deliberately narrow. Every company we operate serves the same world: dealerships, their salespeople, their finance offices, and the customers on the other side of the desk. That focus lets a small headquarters make fast, informed decisions that a generalist owner could not.

We got here the unglamorous way. Years of consulting and custom development taught us which problems in automotive retail were worth owning outright. The companies in our portfolio are the answers we kept coming back to.

What We Value

The standards we run on

01

Craft

We ship work we are proud to sign. In software, in service, and in how we treat the people who depend on our platforms.

02

Alignment

We win when our operating companies and their customers win. There is no other constituency to satisfy.

03

Patience

Durable businesses are built through decisions that look slow in the quarter and smart in the decade.

04

Security

Our companies handle sensitive personal and financial data. Protecting it is a first-order engineering concern, never an afterthought.

05

Directness

Plain answers, firm commitments, and honest recommendations, including when the honest answer is no.

06

Ownership

We own our technology, our infrastructure, and our mistakes. Accountability is easier when nothing is outsourced to a black box.

Headquarters

Small on purpose.

The holding company stays lean so the operating companies can carry the weight. Strategy, capital, security standards, and shared infrastructure live here. Everything else lives close to the customer.
